Revive the Islamic knowledge in Spanish
This year we have delivered more than 1,000 live lessons to students from 19 different countries worldwide.
We have also taken a lead in delivering intensive Islamic and Dawah courses around Spain, both online and onsite, as well as helped co-organise youth camps, with hope to create an Islamic community and strengthen the Iman of our youths.
We have also organised the third CIIHA (International Islamic Congress for Spanish-speakers) with participants joining from 24 different countries. The aim of the event is to promote Islamic knowledge, love for the Quran and its correct recitation, Islamic poetry and arts. Competitions are held at different levels throughout the event in each category.
Another one of our projects has been to create a platform for our Muslim brothers and sisters studying in universities across Spain. The aim is to; create a space and a hub within different universities where students can express their Islamic Views and Beliefs, to promote higher studies within the Muslim community and protect their Iman.
A project in need of our immediate attention and focus is the acquisition and purchase of our first Al-Andalusia Islamic Community Centre. For this, We are in an urgent need of fundraising 45,000€ to complete the payment of our new building. The deadline for which is the 30th of January of 2023.
The Al-Andalusia Islamic Community Centre will be a multi-purpose building. The intentions of purchasing are:
- The building consists of two warehouses that together make 635 square meters. Muslims of Seville currently do not have a place to organise conferences, workshops, exhibitions and other dawah activities on a big scale. This will be a game-changer and will have an enormous impact on our Muslim community.
- The building is in an area that has previously been unable to facilitate and accommodate for Muslims to congregate for prayers, offer Islamic Education or any other activities.
- This community centre will have two big multipurpose sites that will be used for the youth to learn, practice sports and establish a community within an Islamic environment, for boys and girls.
- This centre will have a place for prayers, Islamic classes and the first public Islamic Library in Seville.
This is an opportunity for you and your loved ones to be part of reviving the islamic knowledge in Spain. A country famous and renowned for the ´Golden Age of Islam´.
